SCARABEO ELEMENTO is the ultimate in its category in terms of lightness and protection. Its durable, lightweight polycarbonate shell and foamed polystyrene inner shell can absorb the most violent impacts and meet the most stringent European and North American certification standards – CE EN 1077 Type B and ASTM F-2040. Thanks to the compact design, an extremely low helmet weight is achieved (only 380 g for size JS-JM). The large central vents are located at the point of highest air pressure and allow the channeling of the flow inside the helmet, transporting moisture and excess heat to the outside. The inside of the helmet is made of warm and breathable thermoformed lining, which makes the helmet very comfortable and allows rapid absorption of sweat and moisture. The ear area is soft and breathable, for a comfortable, enveloping wear. SCARABEO ELEMENTO MIPS is equipped with the patented MIPS Brain Protection System, which significantly reduces the collision force transmitted to the brain in the event of an impact and protects against dangerous rotational accelerations of the head, which are among the main causes of severe brain damage in the event of a fall or impact. The buckle closure is resistant and easy to use, even with gloves. The mask holder on the back is made of silicone with a practical metal button, so that the mask can be easily attached to the helmet. Thanks to the adjustable size adjustment (4 sizes), the model grows together with the little skier and can be used for several seasons without sacrificing a comfortable and correct fit.
